This role offers a large amount of freedom and the opportunity to develop individual ideas. Working Hours: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

Compensation: Monthly salary 230,000 – 333,000 yen ((To be determined based on skills and experience), commuting allowance, raises possible twice a year, bonuses at least once a year
Video systems architect
Using the latest technology, formulate and implement technology roadmaps that grasp business trends. Select and implement general design of player, encoder, and DRM technology.
Video content distribution platform development
Development of large scale, cloud-based distribution systems. Back-end development adopting cutting edge technology: Ruby, Go, etc.
Video player development
Development of HTTP and RTMP streaming players with multi-device compatibility: desktop, mobile, TV, and game consoles. Development of DRM-protected content players like PlayReady, Widevine, etc. Optimization of existing systems by understanding the specification of each platforms and the lastest streaming protocol, middleware, and SDK, etc.
Encoding system development
Develop and optimize system to efficiently encode over 100 pieces of content a month. Produce mechanisms to improve content quality. Implementation of DRM packaging.
Operations and development of video middleware
Wowza and Adobe Media Server configuration management and operations. Module development.
